The company CALYPSO Ltd. is active since 1988 in the field of marine tourism in Corfu. It operates the vessel "Calypso Star I" a specially constructed  boat with large windows at the main hull, which offers panoramic views of the sea bed.
It is based in Corfu, employing 6-7 people and executes submarine cruises from the old port to the island Vidos.
The tonnage of the vessel is 49 passengers and serves thousands of passengers each season as working with the largest Tour Operators.
The company's objective is to give the board the passengers the opportunity to become acquainted with the world of the sea and sea lions, and through this experience to appreciate and protect the environment.
At the same time offers to upgrade the tourism product of Corfu.
KALYPSO STAR is a vessel specially built for submarine cruises. Its a surface vessel with three keels, which serves 49 passengers on each trip.
It is made of aluminum and its underwater windows of unbreakable transparent material, thus enabling everyone, regardless of age or physical ability to explore and admire the beautiful underwater world.
Divers offer unique spectacle swim among numerous fish, feeding them and showing passengers samples of marine wealth of the region, such as starfish, octopus, lobsters etc.
Then we will admire the sea lions that they are in a  specially configured platform, into the sea, swimming and playing with grace.
In return we can enjoy the view of the old town of Corfu as seen from the sea with the two castles dominate.
